The first of a series of single releases on Jus’Listen Recordings sees ‘Rise’ re-mastered and made available for the first time digitally. The track caused a stir when originally released on Manchester’s Phuture Lounge label and stills as fresh today as it did back in 2005.
Rise (Resolution) continues Jonny’s fascination with the electronic dub sound, whilst deliberately staying away from standard dubstep blueprint. In his words... “An influence is one thing, but it has to sound like me first’. The track has been hitting the right notes with DJs like Zed Bias, Bruce Q and Domu, who gave the track some essential 1Xtra play recently.
Jus’Listen Recordings will return with ‘EP6’ Summer 2008.
